AUSTIN – (April 29, 2015) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution loan forgiveness in the amount of $94,000 from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to the Hazy Hills Water Supply Corporation (Travis County). The assistance will allow the Corporation to finance the planning and design costs associated with a water supply project.

The planning and design phase will allow the Corporation to analyze a proposed water supply project that would include the construction of a new well, storage tank, and other water system improvements. The Corporation provides water service to a very small community of approximately 210 residents in the Spicewood area.

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning, and preparing the state water plan for the development of the state's water resources. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
