AUSTIN – (July 6, 2017) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $32,072 in loan forgiveness from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to the Bracken Christian School of Bulverde (Comal County). The School will use the financial assistance to cover costs associated with connecting to the Canyon Lake Water Service Company.

The connection with the Canyon Lake Water Service Company will allow the School to transition off its well water supply and tap into the Company's existing water main. The School will also convert its existing water well into an irrigation well.

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional planning, and preparing the state water plan for the development of the state's water resources. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
