AUSTIN – (April 16, 2018) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $500,000, consisting of a $200,000 loan and $300,000 in loan forgiveness, from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund to the Whitewater Springs Water Supply Corporation (Burnet County). The Corporation will use the assistance to finance water system improvements.

The Corporation will construct a new water well and install a ground storage tank and water transmission line connecting the pumping plant to the existing water transmission system. In addition, the Corporation will develop an asset management plan.
