AUSTIN – (December 19, 2019) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of a $52 million loan from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund to the City of Laredo (Webb County). The City will use the assistance to finance construction of a wastewater treatment plant.

The City could save approximately $13 million over the life of the loan by using the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.
