AUSTIN – (September 3, 2020) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $1,320,000, consisting of a $1,020,000 loan and $300,000 in loan forgiveness from the Clean Water State Revolving Fund, to the City of Rosebud (Falls County). The City will use the assistance to finance planning, design, and construction costs associated with wastewater system improvements.

In addition to the loan forgiveness, the City could save approximately $495,000 over the life of the loan by using the Clean Water State Revolving Fund.

With the assistance approved today, the City will make improvements to its wastewater treatment plant to improve reliability and conduct an infiltration and inflow study.
