AUSTIN – (November 19, 2021) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $63,617,698 for water and wastewater system projects.

  • $1,212,698 to the City of Cranfills Gap (Bosque County) for wastewater system improvements
  • $7,305,000 to the City of Mart (McLennan County) for wastewater system improvements
  • $11,645,000 to the Greater Texoma Utility Authority on behalf of the City of Princeton (Collin County) for water system improvements
  • $43,455,000 to the Wellborn Special Utility District (Brazos and Robertson counties) for water system improvements

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
