AUSTIN – (January 6, 2022) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $41,580,908 for water, stormwater, and flood projects.
- $2,299,908 to the City of Comanche (Comanche County) for water system improvements
- $4,751,000 to the City of Corpus Christi (Nueces County) for stormwater system improvements
- $34,530,000 to El Paso County for a flood mitigation project
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
