Texas Water Development Board approves $300,000 to Tri-Try Water Supply Corporation (Stonewall County) for water system improvements

AUSTIN – (February 9, 2023) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved by resolution financial assistance in the amount of $300,000 in principal forgiveness to the Tri-Try Water Supply Corporation (Stonewall County) from the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund. The Corporation will use the assistance for the planning, design, and construction of a water system improvement project.

With the financial assistance approved today, the Corporation will construct a new pump station that includes two 100-gallon-per-minute booster pumps, one 1,500-gallon pressure tank, and one 15,000-gallon ground storage tank.

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
