AUSTIN – (May 4, 2023) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $51,036,503 for water, wastewater, and flood projects.

  • $575,000 to the Sandy Land Underground Water Conservation District (Yoakum County) for an agricultural water conservation equipment loan program
  • $5,366,157 to the Westbound Water Supply Corporation (Eastland County) for water system improvements
  • $3,155,650 to the City of Marshall (Harrison County) for a flood management project
  • $34,455,000 to the City of Pilot Point (Denton and Grayson counties) for wastewater treatment plant improvements
  • $314,696 to the Commodore Cove Improvement District (Brazoria County) for water system improvements
  • $1,000,000 to the Dogwood Springs Water Supply Corporation (Anderson County) for water system improvements
  • $6,170,000 to the Orange County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 (Orange County) for water system improvements

The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood control, and agricultural water conservation projects.
