AUSTIN – (November 9, 2023) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $2,270,000 for water projects.
- $1,140,000 to the Barton Water Supply Corporation (Erath and Palo Pinto counties) for water system improvements
- $830,000 to the City of Gordon (Palo Pinto County) for water system improvements
- $300,000 to the Avalon Point Water Services, LLC dba Medina Highlands (Bandera County) for water system improvements
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
