AUSTIN – (January 18, 2024) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $41,186,003 for water and wastewater projects.
- $2,450,980 to the Millersview-Doole Water Supply Corporation (Concho, McCulloch, Runnels, and Tom Green counties) for water system improvements
- $1,850,000 to the City of Bartlett (Bell and Williamson counties) for wastewater system improvements
- $975,023 to the Arimak Water Supply Corporation (Kerr County) for water system improvements
- $35,910,000 to the Sharyland Water Supply Corporation (Hidalgo County) for water system improvements
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
