AUSTIN – (November 6, 2024) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $32,428,662 for water and wastewater projects.
- $306,122 to the City of Mason (Mason County) for a lead service line inventory
- $4,098,917 to the City of Slaton (Lubbock County) for water system improvements
- $336,735 to the City of Slaton (Lubbock County) for a lead service line inventory
- $14,940,000 to the City of Thorndale (Milam County) for a water supply project
- $1,390,000 to the Cross Roads Community Water Supply Corporation (Henderson County) for water system improvements
- $3,280,000 to the City of Lone Oak (Hunt County) for wastewater system improvements
- $665,000 to the Royal Oaks Apartments (Gillespie County) for water system improvements
- $2,285,000 to the Victoria County Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 (Victoria County) for water system improvements
- $810,562 to the Victoria County Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 (Victoria County) for wastewater system improvements
- $4,316,326 to the River Acres Water Supply Corporation (Nueces County) for a lead service line replacement project
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
