MCKINNEY, TEXAS – (September 12, 2024) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $98,724,653 for water and wastewater projects.
- $1,632,653 to the City of Idalou (Lubbock County) for a water system project
- $17,490,000 to the City of Mason (Mason County) for water system improvements
- $4,400,000 to the City of Bandera (Bandera County) for wastewater system improvements
- $15,000,000 to the City of Bronte (Coke County) to address emerging contaminants
- $1,990,000 to the Dog Ridge Water Supply Corporation (Bell County) for water system improvements
- $2,440,000 to the City of Daisetta (Liberty County) to address emerging contaminants
- $1,895,000 to the New Ulm Water Supply Corporation (Austin County) for a wastewater treatment plant replacement project
- $18,985,000 to the East Rio Hondo Water Supply Corporation (Cameron County) for water system improvements
- $14,012,500 to the East Rio Hondo Water Supply Corporation (Cameron County) for water system improvements
- $4,966,000 to the Angelina and Neches River Authority (Angelina County) for a water system project
- $4,250,000 to the City of Crockett (Houston County) for a water system project
- $11,663,500 to the City of Crockett (Houston County) for a wastewater system project
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
