AUSTIN – (June 25, 2025) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $122,951,005 for water and wastewater projects.
- $29,420,000 to the Bistone Municipal Water Supply District (Limestone County) for water system improvements
- $367,568 to the Commodore Cove Improvement District (Brazoria County) for water system improvements
- $55,000 to the City of Grandview (Johnson County) to evaluate its system for potential emerging contaminants
- $11,771,569 to the Stephens Regional Special Utility District (Stephens County) for water system improvements
- $6,060,000 to the Agua Special Utility District (Hidalgo County) for water system improvements
- $28,750,000 to the East Rio Hondo Water Supply Corporation (Cameron County) for water system improvements
- $3,244,000 to the City of Rio Grande City (Starr County) for water system improvements
- $4,659,000 to the D & M Water Supply Corporation (Nacogdoches County) for water system improvements
- $4,273,766 to the D & M Water Supply Corporation (Nacogdoches County) for water system improvements
- $7,250,000 to the City of Bridge City (Orange County) for wastewater system improvements
- $1,175,000 to the City of De Leon (Comanche County) for wastewater system improvements
- $8,670,000 to the City of Lindsay (Cooke County) for wastewater system improvements
- $5,500,000 to the City of Mineola (Wood County) for water system improvements
- $11,755,102 to the City of San Antonio (Bexar County) acting by and through the San Antonio Water System for a lead service line inventory
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
