AUSTIN – (August 21, 2025) – The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) today approved financial assistance totaling $231,842,690 for water and wastewater projects.
- $4,759,027 to the City of Hamilton (Hamilton County) for water system improvements
- $101,955,000 to the City of Pflugerville (Travis and Williamson counties) for water system improvements
- $41,681,404 to the City of Harlingen (Cameron County) for water and wastewater system improvements
- $11,905,000 to the Military Highway Water Supply Corporation (Cameron County) for water system improvements
- $5,723,900 to the City of Breckenridge (Stephens County) for water system improvements
- $3,957,600 to the City of Corrigan (Polk County) for water system improvements
- $1,204,082 to the City of Del Rio (Val Verde County) for water system improvements
- $16,950,000 to the City of Denison (Grayson County) for water system improvements
- $17,104,167 to the East Rio Hondo Water Supply Corporation (Cameron County) for water system improvements
- $253,000 to the Grantwoods Water Supply Corporation (Harris County) for water system improvements
- $584,000 to the Harris County Fresh Water Supply District 1A (Harris County) for water system improvements
- $24,275,510 to the City of New Braunfels (Comal County) for water system improvements
- $1,490,000 to the Silver Creek Village Water Supply Corporation (Burnet County) for water system improvements
The TWDB is the state agency charged with collecting and disseminating water-related data, assisting with regional water and flood planning, and preparing the state water and flood plans. The TWDB administers cost-effective financial assistance programs for the construction of water supply, wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, and agricultural water conservation projects.
